Schedule of trips updated

It is hard to believe that our 2024 travel year is winding down. We have a few trips left and room on a few. In December we were going to team with the Lake Frederick Veterans Association to have a tour of the Quantico Marine Corps Museum on December 10. But it turned out that the Lodge scheduled the Holiday party for the same date. So, we cancelled the trip. It will be rescheduled for next year.

All other trips are still scheduled. The Holiday Tea at Rosemont Manor is sold out and Chris Oxford has notified everyone who is confirmed. We still have room on the bus for the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Winchester National Cemetery. Sign up on MTL Events and write a check for $15. The Holiday Walking Tour of Old Town Alexandria with dinner at the Warf is confirmed. We still have a few seats if you hurry.

Also bring your favorite holiday dish to share. As of November 27, only 12 members have registered. So, it may be a small meeting with only a few bottles of wine and beer.
